KROMATIC Festival 2025, metropolitan urban art in Sant Andreu de la Barca
Sant Andreu de la Barca
Sant Andreu de la Barca becomes an open-air urban gallery with the KROMATIC Festival 2025
The KROMATIC Festival is a large-scale muralism project. From June 3 to 23, 2025, it brought urban art to the streets of the municipality. Commissioned by the City Council of Sant Andreu de la Barca, with the collaboration of the Government of Catalonia, the festival was fully developed and produced by Rebobinart. As a result, the organization created a project with a distinct identity, rooted in the local territory, and with a long-term vision.
Seven murals as a bridge between art, memory, and community
The festival featured seven murals distributed across different neighborhoods of the city. In total, over 700 square meters of walls were transformed, connecting heritage, memory, and contemporary creativity.
The seven muralists featured in this first edition were Lula Goce, Roc Blackblock, Taquen, Irene López León, Felipe Pincel, BK, and Dan Ferrer. Their works were spread throughout various points of the municipality, resulting in connections between art, architecture, and everyday life.
KROMATIC invites us to look, listen, and engage in dialogue
The project culminated on Saturday, June 14, with the celebration of the KROMATIC Festival Day in Parc Central, a public event open to everyone. The day included family workshops, live music, and a guided tour of the murals. In total, over 120 people participated.
The Rebobinart team led the tour, sharing the concepts and creative processes behind each piece. Some of the artists were also present, offering visitors a meaningful and reflective experience through direct dialogue.
From concept to wall
The implementation of the KROMATIC Festival involved comprehensive project management by Rebobinart: from artistic conceptualization, narrative development, and graphic identity, to web design and technical, educational, and communications documentation.
Urban art to connect culture and territory
Festivals like KROMATIC create spaces for dialogue between art and the public. They also highlight the transformative potential of urban art to activate public space, strengthen community ties, and make diverse realities visible.
The mural themes were defined in collaboration with the City Council based on shared values such as historical memory, cultural diversity, education, commitment to the local territory, inclusion through sport, and recognition of popular culture. These themes served as inspiration for each artist to interpret freely, using their own visual language and style, resulting in a diverse collection of murals that reflect the richness of contemporary muralism and its adaptability.
At Rebobinart, we reaffirm our commitment to developing projects that connect culture and territory, always working with respect, professionalism, and a long-term perspective.
