How much does a mural cost?

Most projects fall between €5,000 and €45,000. The range is wide because a mural is not a single price: it is the sum of the artist, the wall, the technique, the lifting equipment, the permits and the rights. Tell us about your project and within 48 hours you will have a realistic estimate, with no surprises.

The quick answer

A professional mural in Spain usually costs between €5,000 and €45,000, depending on the artist, the type of mural, the technique, the access equipment and the services added on top: video production, communication and copyright licensing. One-of-a-kind large-format productions with internationally renowned artists can exceed this range and are always quoted individually.

At Rebobinart we have been balancing these budget lines for over 12 years and 900 projects for companies, institutions and communities — which is why we can give you a realistic estimate within 48 hours, and a closed budget that does not move.

What drives the price of a mural

Nine variables explain almost all the difference between a €5,000 mural and a €45,000 one.

The artist

An emerging talent and an internationally established name do not cost the same. The fee reflects style, demand and the value the signature brings to your project — we work with over 500 artists to propose the one that fits your real budget.

The type of mural

A shop shutter, an office interior wall, a facade or a ten-storey gable wall are different projects: the square metres, the days of work and the whole logistics behind them change.

The technique

Spray, roller and acrylic paint, mixed media, prepared backgrounds, protective or anti-graffiti varnishes: each finish has its own time and materials.

Access equipment

Boom lift, scaffolding or rope access. On large-format murals this is one of the biggest budget lines — and the one that causes the most surprises when nobody planned for it.

The condition of the wall

A wall in good condition gets painted; a wall with damp or damage first gets repaired and primed. We always assess it before quoting, not after.

Permits, licences and insurance

Public road occupation, dealings with the local administration, civil liability insurance and crew safety. For outdoor murals, mandatory.

Copyright and image rights

The artwork belongs to the artist: properly licensing its use (web, social media, advertising) is part of the budget and saves you trouble later. We always close it in writing.

Artist training and certifications

Working at height with a lift or scaffolding requires official certifications (rope access, aerial platform operation, health and safety). If you choose an artist who does not yet have them, the training happens before the project starts — and goes into the budget and schedule. We spot it and handle it.

Video and communication

Making-of, professional photography, social media content and coverage on our channels: optional, but it is what turns a mural into a campaign.

Why the budget should come from a specialised company

Anyone who can paint can quote you a mural. A budget that holds until the end is another matter. The difference between a price on paper and the real cost of a mural lies in the lines you do not see: the lift that needed a road occupation permit, the insurance the property required, the wall that needed priming, the image rights nobody put in writing.

Rebobinart is a company specialised in murals for companies, institutions and communities — facades, gable walls, shop shutters and interiors — with a closed quote within 48 hours. We act as a single point of contact managing artist, production, lifting equipment, permits, insurance, neighbours and communication.

One point of contact

Artist, production, permits and communication in one hand: no budget line gets lost between suppliers.

Real costs, not estimates

After 900+ projects —from VISA to ADIF, from city councils to foundations— we know what each line really costs.

Legally sound

Permits, insurance and copyright closed in writing before a single drop of paint.

No mid-project surprises

The budget you approve is the budget you pay. If a line can vary, you know before saying yes.

Frequently asked questions about mural prices

+How much does a mural for a company cost?

Most murals for companies cost between €5,000 and €45,000, depending on the artist, the size of the wall, the technique and the access equipment required. At Rebobinart we give you a realistic estimate within 48 hours based on your project.

+What does the price of a mural include?

A professional quote includes the design and the artist’s fee, the materials, the access equipment, the permits, the insurance and the image usage rights. The invisible lines —access, permits, rights— are what most derails a poorly made budget.

+Who handles the permits and insurance?

We do. Rebobinart handles public road occupation, licences, civil liability insurance and the relationship with neighbours and the property. One point of contact for the whole project.

+Can the mural be used in the company’s advertising?

Yes, as long as the usage rights are licensed in the quote. It is one of the lines Rebobinart always closes in writing with the artist, so you can use the image on your website, social media and campaigns without legal issues.

+How long does it take to paint a mural?

Between a few days and a couple of weeks of painting, depending on size and technique, plus the preparation phase: design, permits and access equipment. We give you the full schedule with the quote.
