EXTINCTION JAM

Last Saturday, December 12, Extinctio JAM was held in the emblematic legal walls of Tres Xemeneies. The JAMS project, that consist in the realization of different actions about various subjects have been celebrated during this year on Wallspot walls and Rebobinart has been in charge of producing them.

The invited artists, Megui and Sergi Bastida were in charge of selecting, from among all those registered for the open call, a total of 10 artists who had the opportunity to be part of this special day.

The side wall of the square and the wall of Paral·lel street were filled with polar bears, iguanas, pangolins, panthers, leopards, monkeys and even dinosaurs, with a common goal: to vindicate the situation of vulnerability in which many of these species.

The result was very impressive, on a green background more than 10 different animal species could be observed, one next to the other, which did not leave indifferent the large number of people who frequented the square throughout the day.

Wallspot provided a total of 10 sprays to each artist so that they could execute their works, and the event was documented and promoted on networks. We want to thank all the artists for their participation: art3sano, Jaume Molera, Anna Fortuny, Pabs, Killa.Ek, Aram, Cartel de Caracas, Owl School Crew, Carola Bagnato, B:K, Megui, Sergi Bastida, Jalón de Aquiles and Raul Moyano, those who once again managed to surprise us.

This event has been held with the support of  Montana Colors, Montó Pinturas, and the Sants Montjuïc district. Rebobinart, besides being in charge of the production, it provided the artists with enough sprays for them to perform their artworks.
