Taller a l’escola Prim — an urban art workshop with 6th-grade students

On 6, 9 and 13 February, first thing in the morning, we headed to Escola Prim to meet the 6th-grade primary school students.
The reason for our visit was to run an urban art workshop, aiming to introduce students to the history of urban art up to the present day, explain what goes on behind a muralist’s work, what laws govern urban art in the city of Barcelona, and above all, to reflect more broadly on art, prohibitions and good practice.
How did we do this with the students? The answer is obvious: by creating a big participatory mural in the school playground, with the involvement of every 6th-grade student and the rest of the students at Escola Prim.
