Live Painting Kronos Art BCN
On 11 July a live painting session took place on the Wallspot walls in the Tres Xemeneies park, as part of the Kronos Art Bcn festival, which offered a varied programme of cultural and art events from 10 to 17 July.
The festival hosted activities across several art forms, including screenings of documentaries, short films and video art, talks, workshops and performances, held at the Arts Santa Mònica centre.
The live painting took place on the central walls of the Tres Xemeneies park, where nine artists painted their pieces sponsored by Montana Colors and Fritz Kola, with the support of Montó Pinturas and organised by Rebobinart.
The artists were chosen through an open call by Wallspot, making up the following line-up: Dirty, Inventura Studio, Jomad, Andrew Agutos, Martz, Mikhaela Martin, Mr. M, Pixa, Sagoco and Selva.
The range of work was highly eclectic thanks to the variety of styles and techniques used by the participants: walls painted with emulsion applied with extension poles and rollers, with all the spectacle that involves, alongside pieces done in spray paint.
The Kronos Art Festival exhibition could be visited at the Arts Santa Mònica gallery until 17 July.
