Sant Cugat del Vallès

In April 2015, the artists Spogo and ONCE painted a mural at the Casa de Cultura in Sant Cugat del Vallès. The photo shows the modern glass-and-wood building with the geometric piece on the ground floor: circles and shapes in blues, red and earth tones designed to blend with the architecture.

The mural takes the surrounding colour palette as its starting point so as to fit in visually, exactly as the commission asked: to dignify the space without competing with it. It is one of the projects for institutions in which a mural adapts to a public building and its context.
