Womart is a project curated by Rebobinart that aims to claim the need to recognize female talent in the visual arts, in general, and in urban art (or art in the public space) specifically. The lack of gender equality in the institutional circuits of the visual arts shows that even today there is a permeable layer that prevents real equality in terms of the recognition of professional female artists. In response to this reality, Womart arises with the aim of promoting the artistic talent of creative women in the field of urban art and at the time promoting their professionalization. This edition in Trinitat Vella was performed by artists Perrine Honoré and Anaïs Loison.

RebobinartWOMART is a project born with two aims. The first, to make women visible within the world of the visual arts. The second, to empower different groups of women: they may be organisations, they may be women from a neighbourhood.
The project in Trinitat Vella starts from the need to transform various urban settings through art, from this gender perspective. Several participatory sessions have been held in which local women defined both the content and the design of the mural, and we are now in the delivery phase, applying the designs agreed with them.
The local womenWomen who take part, fighters, warriors, women in solidarity, competitive women.
We, the women of la Trini, are creative women, fighters, women who take part, women who cooperate. We are what society so often calls for, and that is very well represented in the women of la Trini.
RebobinartThis is a first action of protest and of making gender violence visible. It is about taking part in the day of protest, but also about supporting this group of women who are working to take ownership of certain spaces, to improve them and make them more their own in the neighbourhood: the barbecue area and the Pare Manjón steps, long flagged as an unsafe place.
The local womenOn Thursdays we usually come to this space, where you can see the olive tree behind, to hang small banners with the name and age of the women who have been killed. And today, all the more reason to gather here and hold a small tribute, a minute's silence, as is being done in every city. But we, as a neighbourhood, very much want to stand up for the right to live.
