Weart Festival

Rebobinart collaborated with the Weart Festival on a livepainting intervention that took place on 12 October at the iconic Murs Lliures de les Tres Xemeneies in Barcelona. Urban artists Zems, Balu, Malakkai, Ibie, T de Tacto, Vegan Bunnies, SM 172, Fert and Dase, and Miss Hazard all took part in the session.
The Weart Festival was created to reflect the dynamic nature of contemporary art, bringing together New Art Media, photography, illustration, fine arts, and Street Art–Graffiti in a single programme.
We continue to build partnerships with collectives and festivals that share our commitment to promoting quality urban art, supporting its artists, and bringing life to the neighbourhoods of our city through this vibrant artistic tradition.
The Weart Festival was born with the aim of giving visibility to contemporary artistic disciplines in the context of Barcelona’s La Mercè celebrations. Rebobinart’s collaboration helped bring street art into the official festival programme, with a live painting session at the iconic Murs Lliures de les Tres Xemeneies. Events like these help consolidate street art’s recognition as a legitimate artistic discipline and create new opportunities for local artists.
