Mural painting Anna Taratiel, WALL LAB festival Barcelona

On Sunday, the 20th of June, Rebobinart organized the Realism Jam, an event framed in the Wallspot projects at the Tres Xemeneies wall.

Wallspot selected Núria Farré and Eloise Gillow as guest artists, two artists with international trajectory that use realism in their works, a trend that every day has more representation in urban art. They were in charge of selecting 8 more artists from among all those who applied to the open call, the chosen participants were: Jaume Montserrat, Lidia Mpakkete, Magia Trece, B:K, Diego Vallejo-García, Martz, Berol377 and Estela Quijano.

At the end of the hot day the square was filled with the 10 works. Among the final works could be found from several portraits with very different styles, a collaboration between the artists Martz and Diego Vallejo-García that united their works through the representation of fire, a still life, to the I love you by B: K with the anatomical illustration of a heart.

Thanks as always to Montana Colors, Montó Pintures and Districte de Sants-Montjuïc for helping us to make the event possible.
