La Vanguardia — urban artists reinterpret the front page

The Rebobinart association took on the challenge proposed by the newspaper La Vanguardia for the 2013 La Mercè festivities.

Four urban artists from the Murs Lliures platform created illustrations on panels displayed in Plaça Catalunya, inspired by the front page designed by the newspaper. The resulting pieces were published in La Vanguardia the following day, along with an explanation of the initiative.

It matters that more and more companies choose urban art when designing their outreach campaigns. It’s yet another sign of the growing social acceptance that quality street art is gaining.
