Murs Lliures in Montana Gallery

From 26 April to 5 May 2018, Montana Gallery Barcelona hosted the group exhibition «Murs Lliures», after a first stop at the Centre Cultural Albareda. The show set out to bear witness to the talent found on the city’s walls, with work by ten artists: Camil Escruela, Ibie, Marina Capdevila, Mateu Targa, Miquel Wert, Pez, Reskate, Sandro Bedini, Txemy and Xupet Negre. The photo shows the gallery with the pieces hung and, at the back, the mural of Montana’s «94» character.

Co-curated by Anna Dimitrova (Montana Gallery) and Miriam Alarcon (Wallspot), the exhibition championed Wallspot‘s commitment to opening new spaces of recognition for urban artists. You can see work by Pez, one of the participants, and visit Montana Gallery Barcelona.
