WOMART by Mónika Rikic

Museu de Granollers has hosted the exhibition by Mónica Rikić, “Artefactes”, where the artist reflects on the alteration of traditional art relations, revealing the influence of the use of new technologies in the way we have to experience art and life. On it, the content of the works is as important as the technological container that supports them. The same happens with the artist-public-work relationship, which is liquid and mutable. This exhibition is part of the Womart project, an initiative of Rebobinart that aims to reclaim the need to recognize and make more visible the female talent in the visual arts and promote gender equality in all artistic visual disciplines. The realization of this mural has been promoted by the Xarxa Transversal with the support of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
