Murals in Nou Barris, Barcelona<\/h1>\n

Nou Barris is a working-class district in the north of Barcelona, built largely by its own residents and known for decades of grassroots activism. Rebobinart has turned it into one of the densest clusters of urban art projects anywhere in Spain. From the district-wide “NOU Sentit Urb\u00e0” programme to individual commissions with artists such as Basurama, Mariana Santos and Udatxo, we have delivered more than 18 murals and installations here, always through participatory processes rooted in local memory.<\/p>\n

NOU Sentit Urb\u00e0: the district’s cultural hub<\/h3>\n

An umbrella programme launched by the Nou Barris District Council, with Rebobinart as executive producer. Eighteen artistic interventions funded by Next Generation EU recovery funds, approved by an independent artistic selection committee and developed through participatory processes with residents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

An independent committee decides which artists from our network of more than 500 professionals can best respond to those themes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Workshops and sessions with residents, local groups and, where relevant, schools, so the finished work reflects how the community sees itself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
